Bot is the general contractor for the construction of the William Halton Parkway Extension in Oakville. The scope of work includes: construction of a twin, three-span segmental cast-in-place concrete box girder bridge over the 16 Mile Creek valley, construction of two open footing concrete culverts and three box culverts (spans range from 3m to 4.5m), construction of the 4-lane William Halton Parkway from Third Line to Neyagawa Blvd, reconstruction and widening of approximately 700m of Burnhamthorpe Road from Neyagawa Blvd westerly, construction of storm sewers and storm water management ponds, installation of watermain, full roadway illumination, signage, pavement markings, traffic signals, landscaping, seeding and sodding for the Project. The project will include new on-road bike lanes, multi-use pathways and sidewalks. Major scopes of work subcontracted for this project include wet utilities ($2.5M), reinforcing steel ($9M), post-tensioning ($5.5M), asphalt paving ($3.5M), electrical ($2M), concrete flatworks ($4M) and engaging of a specialist bridge engineer to oversee construction of the superstructure ($600k).
