Realignment of Notre Dame Avenue, over 2km, northerly from Lasalle Blvd., as part of the Maley Drive Extension, a multi-phase infrastructure project of the Official Plan of the City of Greater Sudbury which will connect the City with Highway 17 East and West and Highway 69 South.

Key Elements:

  • 2 multi-lane ( 2 & 3) concrete girder structures over the realigned portion of Notre Dame Avenue
  • New interchange for future Maley Drive Avenue and Notre Dame Avenue, north of LaSalle Boulevard
  • Approaches and rock embankment for Phase Two of the Maley Drive Extension
  • Earth excavation (34,000 m3), rock excavation (162,000m3), granular placement, (77,000 tonnes)
  • Surface course asphalt, electrical
