Licenced 310T Truck and Coach Technician

Position Details

A full-time Licenced Mechanic is required to provide support to the Main Equipment Shop operations in maintaining its extensive vehicle fleet. Working inside a non-union facility, they will be assigned to perform repairs and regular preventative maintenance on company-owned highway trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect defective equipment and diagnose malfunctions using, pressure gauges, scanners, and factory manuals.
  • Brakes, electrical, steering, suspension and service.
  • Assist in other mechanical areas as required.
  • Diagnosing and correcting main issues.
  • Documenting repairs.

Requirements

  • Class T Truck & Coach Technician Certification Required
    • Heavy Equipment experience of 4 years is preferred.
    • Ability to frequently stoop, bend and kneel.
    • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
    • Ability to perform sustained and vigorous activities in a variety of environments, temperatures, and weather conditions. Exposure to grease, oils, and lubricants.
    • Ability to keep all work areas clean and organized.
