Partnering in DB and P3/AFP Delivery
Bot is an active participant in the Design-Build (DB), Public Private Partnership (P3)/ Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) marketplace. Working collaboratively with our joint venture partners and project stakeholders, we combine our construction expertise and local experience to support the pursuit and delivery phases of the project and the achievement of project goals.
As a member of the LINK427 Construction Joint Venture, Bot is playing a key role in the delivery of the Highway 427 Expansion (DBFM), currently underway in Vaughan, Ontario.
As a member of the Mobilinx Design Build Joint Venture, we are proud to be participating in the build of the transformative Hurontario Light Rail (DBFOM). With construction set to begin in mid-2020, this transit service will improve mobility and connectivity for the cities of Mississauga and Brampton and across the Greater Toronto and Greater Golden Horseshoe Areas.
As a strategic subcontractor on other works, we bring the additional value of our engagement in the planning and delivery of design-build joint venture works, to support our clients’ needs and objectives.
P3 history
Our involvement in public private partnership initiatives began in 1993 with Ontario’s first P3 highway, when as a member of the “ORDC” consortium we were shortlisted to bid the Highway 407 Central Expansion (DBFM) project. For the Highway 407 West Expansion (DBFM) (1999), Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway (DBFM) (2012), and the Highway 407 East, Phase 1 Expansion (DBFM) (2014), we supported the projects as a major subcontractor, undertaking extensive structures and grading works.
