Hurontario Light Rail (HuLRT), Mississauga/Brampton

The HuLRT is a provincially-planned light rail system, developed by Metrolinx and the cities of Mississauga and Brampton. This transformational project will move tens of thousands of people daily, and tackle gridlock and congestion along the busy Hurontario corridor.

Key Elements:

  • 18 kilometres of new dedicated rapid transit service, from the Port Credit GO Station in Mississauga to the Gateway Terminal at Steeles Avenue in Brampton
  • 19 stops along Hurontario Street/Highway 10
  • Connections to GO Transit's Milton and Lakeshore West Line, Mississauga MiWay, Brampton Transit and Mississauga Transitway
  • Maintenance and storage facility for the light rail vehicles, south of Highway 407 and west of Kennedy Road

Bot Infrastructure Ltd. is a member of the Mobilinx consortium awarded the Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain (DBFMO) contract for the Hurontario Light Rail transit project in October 2019. Construction operations commenced in March 2020.
